Our trip to Venice June 4, 2007
Posted by Mrs Rapnouil-Dunn in Lifestyles.add a comment
In April, we went to Venice with the school, it was a beautiful trip.
We arrived at 22h30, we slept in a nice hotel and it was next to the train station.
We visited a lot of monuments : The Campanile, The Cathedral Saint Marc…
On the last day, we took the boat and we visited several Islands around Venice : Murano and Burano, it was a very good day.
Every day, we had for lunch 5 euros to buy food, and a good dinner in a restaurant.
We had a nice sunshine and every day we could buy ice cream.
This trip was very interested and we’ll never forget it.

Our European Day May 30, 2007
Posted by Mrs Rapnouil-Dunn in Lifestyles.add a comment
On 9th May, we celebrated the day of the European-Union. We prepared a quiz with our French teacher. And then we went in all the town and asked questions to passers-by. We came back to school. We put answers together.
We presented us on a webcam to Spanish pupils. We did another quiz about five European countries (Germany, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Slovakia and Romania)
Then, afterwards, the first year marched wearing sandwich-boards in the street. Then we sang the national anthems of many European countries.
We released a hundred balloons with the flag of the European-Union. The director made a speech. And after we had some cakes from many pays.

Dear Friends from Blois,
Our teachers who teach us French told us that you celebrate the very delicate and nice flowers Lily of the Valleys in May. You can confirm it to us if it is true or not. We have written a short poem for you:
Le 1er Mai,
On est alle
Dans la foret
Chercher des muguets.
Nous avons trouve,
Des brins tres parfumes
Que nous avons cueillis avec joie,
Pour nos amis de Blois !
Vos amis de l’ecole “Constantin Platon” de Bacau, Roumanie.
